Nottinghamshire Clubs for Young People
Nottinghamshire Clubs for Young People was established in 1935. It is a voluntary youth organisation which has over 40 youth provisions from Nottinghamshire affiliated to the association. The benefits to affiliates are; advice, guidance and support with governance, access to County wide events and availability of training opportunities for young people, volunteers and staff members.

Nottinghamshire Clubs for Young People also has a 30 bedded residential centre which groups can book out at a very reasonable rate. Jill Carter, Chair of the VOAM Committee won an award at the Nottingham Social Enterprise Awards held at the Broadway Cinema last month. Jill, who with her daughter Jessie, set up the Pulp Friction Smoothie Bar Project won the Social Enterpreneur of the Year Award and Jessie got a special judges award for her involvement with Pulp Friction.

Rev and Go has over 10 years experience of enabling adrenaline fuelled Cotgrave teenagers to build skills on motocross bikes without breaking the law. The Victoria Centre has donated Mall space for them to display their bikes to the public for the first time. They can collect funds for the charitable trust’s sand race team. Date for diary is Saturday 1st October. Location is outside Top Shop on the Mall’s ground floor.
